Who is responsible

This policy covers eonix.art. The publication and this site are operated by Eonix Editorial, who is responsible for the processing described here. Contact: editor@eonix.art.

The short version

• Three articles carry advertising from Adsterra. On those pages its scripts load from other hosts and cookies may be set.
• On every other page nothing is written to your browser and nothing is loaded from another host.
• There are no accounts, forms or comments anywhere, and no analytics of our own.
• Our own fonts and images are served from this site.
• Our hosting provider processes technical request data to deliver and protect the site.

What is processed when you visit

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes the technical details of each request: IP address, browser user agent, the address requested, the referring page and the time. We see this only as aggregated statistics — counts of requests by address, country, browser or crawler name, method and response code — and do not use it to identify anyone.

Cookies and storage

Our own code uses no cookies and writes nothing to your browser's storage, on any page. We have checked the responses and the code for both.

On the three articles that carry advertising, the advertising network and the advertisers it serves may set cookies of their own and use your browser's storage, under their own policies. We do not read them, and nothing from them reaches us.

Advertising

Three articles on this site carry advertising served by Adsterra. They are the guides on reading a longevity study, on biological age tests, and on NMN. No other page on the site carries advertising: not the front page, not the sections, not the glossary, and not these legal pages.

On those three pages Adsterra loads scripts from its own servers and may set cookies or use browser storage to choose which advertisement to show, to measure it, and to limit how often the same one appears. Those choices are made by Adsterra, not by us: we see no data about you from it and receive only totals of what was shown.

One of the formats on those three pages is a pop-under, which opens a separate browser window when you click anywhere on the page. It is deliberate and it is advertising; it is mentioned here because it is easy to mistake for a fault or for something opened by the article itself.

You can refuse all of this by blocking third-party cookies in your browser settings or by using a content blocker. The articles are readable either way, and nothing on this site is withheld from readers who block advertising.

If you write to us

Mail sent to our address is received by Cloudflare's email routing and forwarded to a mailbox hosted by Google. We keep the correspondence there for as long as needed to deal with it, and delete it on request. We do not add correspondents to any list.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act — you may have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its processing. Because the site keeps no personal data of its own, most requests concern our hosting provider, and we will point you to the right place. Write to editor@eonix.art. We do not sell personal information.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 16 and does not knowingly process their data.

Changes

When the site changes, this policy changes with it — before, where the change affects your data — and the date below moves.
